Why I now know to avoid parties comprised of mainly law students:
- Law kid:
- "Oh, so you're not in law school?"
- Me:
- "No, I'm on the opposite side of campus, studio art."
- Law kid:
- (eyes glaze over, condescending tone) "Oh that sounds so fun!"
- What I wanted to say:
- "Yes, spot on. I chose what I do because it poses no challenge whatsoever and I get to sit in the corner all day drawing rainbows. Ten points to Slytherin."
