Sometimes there are moments when I’m at work, and the kids ask me questions that I reply with the same sort of answers I’ve been accumulating over the past few years to tell my children…when I don’t actually know the answer.
For instance,
“You’ve gotta google that shit, son.”
“Well Andrew Jackson actually did something similar….”
“Didn’t you watch that episode of Bill Nye? I’m pretty damn sure it’s on there.” “Listen to more NPR.”
“Haven’t you checked youtube for that?”
“Check you check your online forum when you get home? Some Wikipedia happy jack-ass has without a doubt already answered a Question about that.”
“I’m pretty sure I saw this on my twitter updates a half hour ago.”
I’m so boned.
